Back button from App info screen - 3.1.0

In 3.1.0, if you click on an app name to see the app details, there is no back button to go back out of that screen. You have to click the back button on the browser or select one of the menu options to get back to the previous page \ app list, and it then puts you at the top of the app list.
Feature requesting a back button.

This one drives me insane! Especially when I need to review/update multiple apps. I know I can open in a new tab so I don't lose the search (and which page/location in the search), but it feels counter intuitive

I would agree this would be a useful function, but also to remember where you were in the previous search, previous versions of the portal would remember the last search, another option to this would be to open the application selected in a new tab or window which would keep the previous search info available.

Hi Vicki, I hope you're well. Please could you clarify what the benefit of the back button would be in your eyes? Given that the new portal has individual pages for everything, the back button in the browser should effectively perform the same function, where that wasn't the case before 2.12.
Is it just a case of if you've used 'show more' a few times in the grid view you'd ideally want to maintain where you were?

Hi Lewis
I am well thank you, hope you are too.
Yes sure.
It would be to retain where you were in the app list if you have scrolled down and clicked 'Load more apps' several times.
We have apps that are the same version but configured differently based on different school requirements, so we use the more info section to advise of the config etc.
I think with the previous portal version, where you could scroll continuously to the bottom of the app list, it maybe wasn't so noticeable as it is now where you need to click 'load more apps' at the bottom of each page.
Kind regards
Vicki
